Helpful members of staff, I had an issue with one of the 3 rooms I had booked and the staff were able to help by swapping one of my rooms for me
The room and service by the staff wwere very good. My problem is with Travelodge itself. When I first checked if it was free it was ££55.99. So I keptthe page opened, went to check the date with family. As it was fine with everyone, I went to book it but when I went to pay, the pricejumped to £66! Come on, mid week, in January!!! So, be verycareful when you book
Stayed here in January 2026 on a Friday night and almost cancelled due to weather conditions but still stayed. The hotel is on a roundabout just off the A40 so all gritted and safe. It’s one of the older Travelodge hotels but my room was large, equipped fully as Travelodge does, and the bedding and towels were clean and smelled lovely. All staff I met were really friendly and went out of their way to say hello etc. The room is heated by an electric heater but was perfect. I actually had an amazing 8 hour sleep after getting in at 1:30am after a work thing. Having a Starbucks next door was amazing, breakfast sorted if you don’t want to pay for a breakfast box. There’s a McDonald’s, Greggs and Pret opposite too. Ideal spot for an event in Carmarthen. I will rebook here again!
Last minute reservation due to transport issues. Reception team were welcoming and very accommodating. Hotel clean and tidy and in ideal location. Continental breakfast available, but also Starbucks, McDonalds, Gregg's and local garage within walking distance. Craig on reception very helpful and informative in relation to late check out due to unforeseen circumstances. Great customer service. Thank you.
Convenient place when visiting Skanda Vale temple which is only 35mins away. This is our 4th visit and we will book it again. Good value for money.

Very warm room. Very basic room but it was cheap and comfortable.
Good decent hotel, stayed overnight for 1 night. Room was nice and spacious and many free items like coffee, tea, sugar; shower and toilet all functional. Cleaning service in the morning. There is a budgens , Greggs, pret, Starbucks and McDonald’s all a 3 min walk away which makes food not an issue. All in all a great experience, can’t complain. I am also aware there are dog friendly rooms too. WiFi will always be somewhat of an issue in any Travelodge one visits as it is only free for 30mins, after you must pay (If I recall it’s £3.50 for 24 hours, other durations also available). A downside is sometimes there isn’t a staff member at reception, you’ll have to call the reception number for them to come back.. whether busy or not there should always be a staff member at the desk.
